Since its inception 35 years ago, Vilamoura has matured into one of Europe’s most complete resorts. Vilamoura XXI is the master plan which governs the expansion of the resort. Launched in 1996 it oversees the low-density development of 860 hcts (2,125 acres) with Clusters of low rise buildings in between landscaped gardens, golf courses and nature reserves. The Victoria Gardens area forms just one of these areas being in the centre of an area bothered by the Victoria and the Millennium golf courses, and the pine woods to the north.

For this, the latest of Vilamouras Golf Courses, no expense was spared. A true Maestro, Arnold Palmer, was commissioned to design the course, and he has produced a master course that flexes its challenging muscles over 90 hectares of landscaped terrain in the heart of Vilamoura. The club facilities for players and a restaurant for anyone who appreciates fine food in beautiful surroundings.
